The products you're missing

We all know that babies have the best skin of us all. They are super soft, they smell great, and their complexion is perfect. So why don't we ever consider the products we use on them, for ourselves! Since I have ventured into the baby department of Boots, my skin has never looked so great. I suffer from eczema around my face and body, which can really get me down. If I wear make-up, my foundation sticks to my skin and dry patches emerge. I have discussed on this blog before, my experience without moisturisers (I only used serums). If I didn't have eczema, I would have kept it up. However, it taught me to go easy with the products I used to use. I have been searching for a new product which is light, yet hydrates my face... And I'm pretty sure I've found it!

Child's Farm is a little genius brand which I can honestly say, has transformed my skin. Within 24 hours of me using this product, their moisturiser only, cleared the eczema on my face by about 80%. I can not recommend this product enough, not only is it affordable, but it actually works. Since it is designed for babies, the products are all tested in various ways and are dermatologically tested and approved. The only problem is, getting your hands on their stock! They are non-surprisgly, sold out. I get mine from Boots, since they always have the basic range of shampoos to body wash. The website offers a more diverse range of stock and scents.

When I shower I use the body wash. They do various scents, including unscented for extremely delicate skin. Then I use their moisturiser from head to toe, including my face! At night time, I also put bio oil on my skin, as it gives me an even tone and a brighter complexion.

The products are for sensitive skin; however, they do contain alcohol preservatives. They use a substance called cetearyl alcohol. This type of emulsifier is in a lot of baby products, as it is the safest way to preserve a substance. It is classed as the least toxic emusifier out there, and has little to non toxins at all. So don't immediately panic when you see this ingredient! Cetearyl Alcohol also contains emollient properties which leave skin soft and smooth.

Give these tips ago and let me know if they work for you. Don't knock it, till you've tried it!
